Ashton Eaton wears many hats between being a world champion, renowned Olympian and gold medalist. Fortunately for us, he is taking on one more role as he joins the Wolf Pack as an official ambassador! His time in London and Rio representing America in track and field showcased his hard work, dedication and commitment paying off. It comes as no surprise that his values are following him into his next venture.
Love for Performance.
Sports connect us to each other, from kids on a rec team to athletes on the big screen. Wolf & Shepherd’s Founder and CEO Justin Schneider saw this connection in his relationship with Ashton Eaton. As track & field athletes, they share their love for performance. While Ashton may hold an Olympic medal over Justin, the two connect over being the best in their more recent respective fields- sports and shoes.
Never settle.
As a decathlete, Eaton knows the importance of the right shoe for the right time. Just ask him about his ten different shoes for each of his events. Stepping out into the next chapter of his life, shoes are staying as an important feature. World champions don’t settle for second best after all. “I need something that’s high performance, something that’s comfortable and something that looks great”, Ashton told us. With athletic footwear as the starting block, Justin designed dress shoes to check all of those boxes.
